Five years after helping to launch the open source integrator Rivet Logic, the company was ready to launch Crafter Software, its own open source platform for web content and experience management. Signal worked with the product management team to build Crafter’s market positioning, differentiation and promise of value, focusing on the flexible, open-architecture capabilities of this powerful platform.
The new Crafter brand identity featured integrated gears, cast in an updated retro illustration style. Messaging and design for the website and collateral suite focused on three primary advantages for web developers and marketers: Create timely content with easy authoring tools; create sites that scale across channels and devices; and engage target audiences with dynamic content and personalization.
In addition to new marketing infrastructure, Signal created two demonstration sites for hypothetical entities, Global Integrity and Rosie Rivet’s Jeans, to showcase Crafter’s capabilities.
